Little By Little

A month and a half ago we were at a local antique fair/flea market and spotted a couple of gems hidden amid all of the shabby chic, country style wares. We managed to score a Paul Mayen for Habitat table lamp and a Danish Modern teak planter chest by Arne Vodder. It took about an hour and a half of elbow grease to get the lamp cleaned up, and it now resides downstairs in our record room, providing a cool lunar glow.

Unfortunately, the Arne Vodder planter chest was missing its plant bed insert, so Valery wracked her brain coming up with a cheap DIY solution. She did a fantastic job! The planter chest now resides in our foyer. Now all we need to do is re-paint the room and it should be finished!

That planter is drop-dead gorgeous, and I really like the lamp too. Congratulations on two amazing finds.

Thanks, Dana. We went to the same market today and scored some planters. Can't get enough of these things, I guess!
