Yep, we've done it again—we up and entered our humble abode into yet another contest with the fine folks over at Apartment Therapy. It seems as though we've succeeded in eliciting a polarized reaction among the site's readership this time 'round, so we're hoping y'all will weigh in with glowing character assessments, vociferous rebuttals and, most importantly, votes! Cast 'em early, often and thanks again for your help!

My comment over at AT:
"While not everyone is a minimalist, some of us are maximalists and like to collect and display objects as art. This room is a fantastic example of a stylish and unusual way to highlight each and every piece while keeping the space as a whole coherent. It's not an aesthetic (or lifestyle) for everyone, but in a time when less is considered more...it is interesting to see a home where there is always room for more! I like this room and it's deliberate form. It could be a veritable time capsule of cool!"
I'm a maximalist too, I refer to my own apartment as a stuff museum. If you enjoy your space, and if surrounding yourself with the most amazing stuff out there, then you have achieved your own goals! Good on ya! ;-)
You guys have my vote!
I love your style! Don't listen to the negative peeps :)
Thanks for the reassuring words! No big surprise, but we're pretty confident about the things we enjoy, so criticisms have a tendency to fall on deaf ears. We also think that the people who enjoy the same things we do appreciate the way we put everything together, and for that we are grateful. Thanks again!
Oh my jeez...Apartment Therapy. At least half of the people who comment there need *actual* therapy. I loved Joseph's comment. Your place is beautiful and some people truly fear anything that doesn't look like what they're told they should like. Will vote for you!
Oh, too late! Well, I WOULD have voted for you. :)
